Our History

Mayflower Plc is one of the leading independent providers of business telephone systems and applications in the UK, supplying and supporting a range of communication platforms which encompass leading-edge applications. Over the past 20 years Mayflower has aligned itself with a number of key vendors, the most prominent of which is Avaya – and the two companies work closely together to deliver tailored solutions designed to meet a wide range of business requirements.

The company was established in 1987 and has been at the forefront of the telecommunications marketplace since the liberalisation of the industry.
Originally a sales-only organisation, Mayflower has grown organically and now offers pre-sales consultation, project management, installation and implementation. The combination of field-based and in house support teams provides a comprehensive range of services to Mayflower's loyal customer base, including fixed-line and cellular telephone bill rationalisation.

 

Mayflower's call cost savings are provided by offering LCR (Least Cost Routing) via alternative carriers to BT. The majority of the customer base now enjoys savings on their landline and mobile calls via this service offering. Customer bills are provided by Mayflower's billing platform, whilst online billing and call report analysis is also available free of charge.

Working Principles

Mayflower's dedicated Customer Care Team ensures that calls from customers are dealt with quickly and efficiently, always remembering that the customer comes first. It is this philosophy that allows Mayflower to be well respected by clients and suppliers alike. Regular Account Manager contact ensures customers are always aware of the latest changes in technology that could enhance their business. Investment in contact centre and technical support software enables the Mayflower team to track customer calls and ensure the best possible response times are adhered to.

Mayflower is an Avaya Gold Partner, which means that considerable time and expense has been spent to make sure Mayflower receives the best level of support from Avaya and subsequently offers the highest level of service to its customers.
